Securely backs up data.

Please note that secwipe was written on and for OpenBSD, but has been tested on FreeBSD as well. As such, it may not be suited for other operating systems.

Currently implemented backup mechanisms include:

• smb - samba shares
• tar - local files via tar archives using the pax program
• dump - local files via dump archives using the dump program
• afs - afs volumes
• backup* - local files via dump archives using the backup program

* - backup cannot be done without ssh, all others can optionally use ssh
